I’m a little scared to travel to China alone as I only speak English, but I mostly plan to visit the major cities like Shnaghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo etc…..any experience would be helpful….thanks!!!!

I am planning to visit China but then started reading some of the diseases that I could be exposed to and the vaccinations I would need. I am currently experiencing a low white blood cell count for reasons that aren’t clear.
Would I be ill-advised to travel to China whilst I have it ?

Practical details would be highly appreciated.

I know that China is quite westernised now but in what specific areas? What aspects of china have remained traditional? this country has a really interesting history but i don’t know much about it in modern life. Can someone give me some basic information on modern Chinese culture?

Does any one know how can I hire a one-day travel guide person in Seoul? I don’t really need a professional one, student from university will be fine.

I have tried Singapore airlines, it was excellent. I also travelled with some airlines in China, and JAL, they are ok~~~~. I planned to have a good experience travelling to China and US, could you please give me some advices about my flying trip?

I cannot contain my excitement, this is all I think about. I am going to India for about 6 weeks, backpacking for 2, China backpacking one week, and Africa one adventure tour and 3 weeks volunteering. I am spending everyday doing research and planning. I really need to get into good shape to make the best out of my trip, btw I am going completely solo and will probably be staying in cheap hostels. What can I expect from this trip, how great will this experience be?

We are going for the Florida State/Alabama game in Jacksonville at the Alltell Stadium. I found a resteraunt for Thursday night. I need to find a “top 4 -5 star” resteraunt for Friday night. There will be 8 in our group. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
