Confucianism is an ethical philosophy for societal order. The Tao is Natural Law or Nature within a spiritual context. In China both philosophies are embraced; however, a communistic dictatorship is still it’s most prevalent dominion. Both Confucianism and Tao can be said to enable Communism because of the Order it brings to the Republic of China. Still, The Tao doesn’t need any such structure in order to be the Tao. The Tao is. The Tao is Life.
