I am planning to visit Egypt sometime in September, maybe for a week or so. I would like to purchase a good travel guide book so I can do a little reading and know what places I want to visit on my trip.
I have looked up Amazon.com but have come across books with both +ve and -ve reviews and am confused. I dont want an expensive book.

I’ll be in Chengdu studying for a year and will likely travel around quite a bit. I want a good travel guide that has of the beat places, great information, also pointed at a person of my age, 27.

I want to get him a 2008 travel guide to Albania, but i know he probably won’t travel there in another year or two.
Would the travel guide be outdated by then?

I am planning a trip to New Zealand this December, and thought that a travel guide will be useful as to help us decide where to go. We are starting in Auckland.

i want to travel around china to see the amazing sights but also to experience the true culture, im looking to spend 1 1/2 month to 2 months there, i dont mind flying in from one airport and out from another, im looking at going june/Jul is this a goood time to go?
