I am planning to visit Egypt sometime in September, maybe for a week or so. I would like to purchase a good travel guide book so I can do a little reading and know what places I want to visit on my trip.
I have looked up Amazon.com but have come across books with both +ve and -ve reviews and am confused. I dont want an expensive book.

I’m a 16 year old girl going to Paris next easter with my school French class and I would like to buy a travel guide but I don’t know which one is best. Please tell me what you think is the best travel guide and (if possible) what features of the book make them your favorite. I also appreciate any advice from you guys on how to travel in paris (what to see, what to do, how to act, what to eat, where to go, how to dress, what camera to bring, what safety precautions, etc.). I’ll be in Chengdu studying for a year and will likely travel around quite a bit. I want a good travel guide that has of the beat places, great information, also pointed at a person of my age, 27.

I am a teen who wants to write a travel guide for teens who are visiting Walt DisneyWorld. I know how I want to write my guide, what pictures to put in it, etc. But how would I be able to publish it? And how do I not infringe on copyright laws?

Hi! I’m traveling to Southern Africa—Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwae, Lesotho, and Namibia— and would like a travel guide that covers information on how to get between each country, hotel, dining, and national park regulations. I would prefer it be geared towards the budget traveler. I have used Lonely Planet in the past, and loved it, but i’ve heard the guide for Southern Africa is not very good. Any thoughts?

i have traveled alot and i am so tired of carrying around a 150 pg travel guide. Whats something new i could use to travel with so i dont have to lug that huge encyclopedia like book around?

I want to get him a 2008 travel guide to Albania, but i know he probably won’t travel there in another year or two.
Would the travel guide be outdated by then?
