the best restaurant i’ve been to in a long time is Golden Dragon Palace in Doncaster/Lower Templestowe. Do yourself a favour and try it.

I think Jamie Oliver’s restaurant is there if you wanted to try that?
I think it’s called thirteen or some other number!

I agree with the answer above. Flower Drum was rated the 22nd best restaurant in the world from a magazine in London, England. It was definitly the best Chinese i’ve ever had.

The Flower Drum (off Bourke St)

Depends on which cuisine you like…

I haven’t been to the Flower Drum, but I have friends who have, and they couldn’t stop talking about it! They loved it! I’m hoping to go there soon myself! :)
Another really good restaurant is Sontaya (Thai) in Bundoora, the ambience is traditional, the service was great, the meals were delicious and the prices weren’t over the top either.

Jaques Reymond and Flower Drum generally. It used to be Est Est Est, but that’s gone now.
I also love Circa, Cafe DiStasio and Silks.
